Mr. Erick Watson is Vice President of Strategic Product & Market Development for Quantarium, LLC where he excels in product definition, market positioning, competitive analysis, scalability optimization, and the creation of digital solution-based platforms and programs.
Before joining Quantarium, Erick served as Chief Product Officer at Moodwire, a natural language processing start-up. Prior to Moodwire, Erick spent ten years at Microsoft, where he led successful initiatives in research & development, competitive strategy, and market development. He also has several successful stints in private equity and software start-up companies.
Erick serves on the advisory boards of several early-stage startups operating in the Greater Puget Sound area, including Socedo, a Twitter-based CRM company; TimeXtender, a Danish data warehouse automation provider; and GAEMS, a console gaming hardware manufacturer.
Erick is published author and has contributed to books and articles on technology and culture. He is a frequent speaker at conferences and summits on the topics of business culture, innovation, competition, and intellectual property in the software industry.
